Instructions/Wire chart
This is to provide simple instructions to install the 6 switch panel with E-stop.
Professional Install recommended***
Step 1A: IF YOU ARE NOT USING A BATTERY KILL SOLENOID, PROCEED TO STEP “1B”.
If you are using a battery kill solenoid, connect the grey wire to 12v before the solenoid. (Where you will have 12v even if the solenoid is in the off position) Fuse this connection with the provided fuse holder. Next, connect the White wire to the 12v input on the solenoid and ground the solenoid's negative input. Now the Estop button will turn your battery Solenoid on and off.
Step 1B: Hook the Grey wire to a 12v source, Fuse with the provided fuse holder. Tape up the White Wire; it will not be used. The E-stop Switch will cut the power from all the switches if pressed.
Step 2: Connect the Black wire to a good ground.
Step 3:Connect the Red Wire to your vehicle’s Illumination/Dash lamp 12v. Typically can be found at the dimmer switch and will show a voltage ranging from 6-12volts as you go from dim to bright. If you do not want to test for this, You can hook this wire to an Ignition source, and the switches will light up when the ignition is turned on.
Step 4: connect each switch output wire to the (85) coil on a relay. ***YOU MUST USE A RELAY ON THE OUTPUT OF THESE SWITCHES!*** RECOMMENDED PRODUCT FOR THIS PANNEL IS THE BWS 16 CIRCUIT PDC https://www.brewingtonwiringsystems.com/products/16-circuit-aux-controller
